A musician from the age of six, Steve learned to play the piano and trombone before beginning his intense Jedi training as a bass player. The young Skywalker proved to be quite skillful and almost followed his idol John Williams' footsteps in musical scoring and orchestral composition. Lucky for us he became an anthropologist and, recently, a financial poster child -- but he never lost sight of the music.

With Geddy Lee of Rush as his main influence, Steve was the bassist for many bands including Vegetable Soul, an alternative/progressive classic rock group, with whom he toured all over Michigan. A "natural on a horse," Steve enjoys anything to do with hockey and Star Wars -- often mixing both interests with his other passion, cattle roping. Look for Steve at your local rodeo wielding a goalie stick and Darth Vader costume, hog-tying some innocent cows.
